The Restaurant
All the food is cooked and prepared by chef & proprietor Ian. We source
many of our ingredients locally, such as organic beef from Becklands Farm
and fish from nearby West Bay. We grow herbs, fruit and vegetables
in our walled garden, most of which finds its way into the kitchen and
is used on that evening's menu.
We also have our own free range Chickens which occasionally provide us
with enough eggs for breakfast ... if you are one of the first eight down!
We are happy and able to cater for most dietary requirements, whether
it be vegetarian, vegan, gluten free ... just let us know when booking.
Drinks before and after dinner are served in the lounge where, on the
cooler nights, there will be a log fire burning.
On warmer nights we may open the french windows and you can sit out on
the terrace in the shade of our nearly two centuries old Magnolia tree! |
