The White House, our beautiful Regency Villa built by Architect to the King Sir Jeffry Wyatville in 1823, stands in the centre of the coastal village of Charmouth. Surrounded on three sides by the glorious West Dorset countryside and the sea to the south, we are just a five minute walk to the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic coastline and its famous fossil beach. Just two miles from Lyme Regis, five miles from River Cottage and six miles along the coast from West Bay (aka Broadchurch), there are a wealth of places to discover and explore in this area of outstanding natural beauty. See our Local Attractions page for many more.
You can book one of our four large luxurious rooms online through our secure booking system, or if you prefer, call us directly on 01297 560 411.
We have a private car park to the rear of the hotel through an entrance which can be a little narrow for the largest cars. There is also a private parking space at the front and free on street parking on the road right opposite the hotel.

We are committed to sourcing our products principally from local suppliers as much as we can and have been awarded Taste of the West GOLD in both B&B and Restaurant categories for the fifth year running. We were also finalists for both categories.
